Is it really?
I think it is ..... and wish it could last into every day of the year..... perhaps that is our task: to keep joy, light, and generosity for the entire year
Why doesn't that happen for me? I mean i keep joy, light and generosity but i never seem to ever get it back.
Not that i am asking for it, it just never happens for me!!

You send love and joy and generosity out into the world; it doesn't come back. That has gotta feel raw-tten. But my advice, if you want advice, is to keep on keepin' on. The joy is in the giving; the more you keep joy in your heart the more you have to give away. It's magic like that: the more you have and keep the more you have to give away and the more you give the more there is for you.
I am so sorry for the dark place you are in and wish I knew the right words ......
